Knight Whitefire 01:39, 12 December 2007 (UTC) I've seen all three ways of capitalizing the band name, although on the official website it is 'Panic At the Disco'.

The person going through the transition/choosing new pronouns obviously has it harder, but that doesn't mean it's not confusing or upsetting for the people that know them, too. Just wanted to share that because Panic At the Disco is the true name.

Again, not saying that you shouldn't be apologetic and correct yourself and try to be better, but I think an adjustment period is to be expected and doesn't automatically make you a terrible person. If one of my brothers who I've known for 20+ years suddenly asked me to call them she/her, I would obviously try my best, but I don't think it'd be an instantaneous, effortless change. Not saying at all that it's okay to not call people by their preferred pronouns, but I do understand how it can be hard for people to adjust to. In one case, it's actively changing the word you use, and in the other, it's just keeping it the same even if it doesn't really make sense anymore. It fits better with the rest of Swift's discography, but she still doesn't have songs that really sound like that or center around the same themes as ME I virtually never skip it on my Taylor Swift playlist, but I skip it 50-70 of the time on my Panic Playlist because I'm rarely in the mood for it when I want to listen to. With P!ATD, people always called them that and just continued to use the same name even though there's only one member remaining. In the case of someone changing their pronouns to they/them, they are asking you to call them something different than what you always have. I don't think this is a fair comparison tbh.
